Walk from Dorchester on Thames to Wallingford along the Thames Path. This route follows the river as much as possible but there are some parts where you have to go away from the river at Shillingford and Benson, so I have added photographs of all the junctions to help you follow the route.

Walk to Wittenham Clumps
I was hoping to get some good photos of the sunset from the top of the Wittenham Clumps, on the walk from Dorchester on Thames it was looking promising. Unfortunately when I arrived at the top there was a bank of cloud obscuring the sunset but I did manage to get a nice shot of the mist rolling in on the way back.

BBC News – Russia Soyuz spacecraft docks with International Space StationThe rocket, carrying a US astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts, blasted off from Russia’s Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Monday.
Great news for the ISS and also for the Russian space agency who have been having a bad year. After the failure of the Progress cargo rocket in August, I am sure everyone involved was very nervous.

BBC News – ARM’s new GPU chip design aims to boost mobile graphicsARM hopes to expand its share of a rapidly-growing market. Demand for its mobile GPU designs lags behind that for its central processing units (CPUs).
It will be interesting to see what impact this has on mobile devices. ARM are a great company with a different approach to chip design, where they produce cores which are used by ASIC designers producing SOCs. Previously they have been mainly working in the embedded CPU area.
